Overview
BRT ITERA modernizes campus transportation logistics at Institut Teknologi Sumatera. The platform ingests vehicle telemetry, tracks driver schedules, and reconciles passenger smart card tap transactions.
Problem Solved
Replaced manual paper passenger logs and estimated arrival times with live vehicle positioning and digital payment reconciliation.
Target Users
Campus commuters, bus drivers, and ITERA transit management.
System Architecture
Backend service built with Django (Python) and PostgreSQL connected to in-vehicle GPS trackers and TapCash NFC card readers, with Next.js administration dashboards.

My Contribution
- Built RESTful API endpoints handling vehicle GPS coordinate pings and TapCash transaction logs.
- Designed and indexed relational PostgreSQL tables to store fleet coordinates and transaction ledgers.
- Developed monitoring dashboard views in Next.js for route coordinators to view active bus positions.
- Configured the Linux VPS environment with Docker and Nginx, completing formal handover to ITERA IT Division.
